We would recommend having a car for your time in Taos. With Taos being a small town, Uber and Lyft are not available. Once you are in Taos everything is very close and most of the hotels are easily walkable to the plaza (the heart of Taos).

If you prefer not to drive, we recommend using a shuttle service, such as taosrides.com to get to Taos.

WELCOME PARTY
The Stakeout is located about 15 minutes from downtown Taos.

• From Taos head south on Paseo Del Pueblo Sur (US-68)

• Continue on US-68 for about 6 miles

• Turn left onto Stakeout Drive (keep an eye out for the Stakeout Cowboy Hat sign to your left)

• The Stakeout will be about 1 mile up on your left

WEDDING DAY
The wedding is located about 5 minutes from downtown Taos.

• From Taos head southeast on Paseo Del Pueblo Sur (US-68)

• Turn left onto Este Es Road

• Continue on Este Es Road for about 0.5 miles

• The venue is located at 414 Este Es Place (look for signage)

PARKING
Both events will have plenty of parking available.

FOR GUESTS STAYING AT EL MONTE SAGRADO

• ARRIVAL SHUTTLE (El Monte Sagrado only): We’re providing a wedding day shuttle to and from the venue for guests staying at El Monte Sagrado. A shuttle will depart from the El Monte Sagrado valet at 3:30pm to take guests to the wedding venue. Just look for the big yellow school bus—we’ve partnered with a local rafting company, so you can’t miss it!

• RETURN SHUTTLE: At the end of the night, a return shuttle will leave the venue at 11pm, stopping at both El Monte Sagrado and Hotel Don Fernando.

DRIVING YOURSELF

If you prefer to drive, there is plenty of parking at the venue, and you’re welcome to leave your car overnight.

Generally speaking, August in Taos is mild with highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s with the chance of afternoon rains. Weather permitting, our Welcome Party & Wedding will both be mostly outdoors so plan accordingly.

The wedding will take place on our family property. The property has uneven terrain consisting of grass, gravel, and bark. Please make sure to plan your footwear accordingly! If you choose to wear heels we suggest bringing a comfy pair of shoes to change into. Barefoot is welcome too!
